Coaching is like having a friend who constantly feels your desire, sees the fulfilment and does everything to assist you to achieve your set goals. A Coach will look behind your shoulder and walk with you to search, understand and to commit to the action pertaining to achieving the goals of your life. If you would ask the top athlete the secret to his or her success, the answer would most likely be that they had a coach who guided them to visualise and eventually actualise the desired goal to a living goal of fulfilment. The answer to When would be NOW, What and Why is within You, Where is precisely at your current location and How is by take active Action. You can either choose to be the effect of something or everything happening around you or to be the Cause of something or everything that is happening around you. Matthew helped me see that I already had everything I needed to do anything I wanted. Matthew helped me focus on the things that I wanted in my life and told me to write about them, speak about them and act as they were already in my life. My day turned around after this, I felt energised and confident as I realised that Matthew was right. I do have everything in my life that I want, my life is full, my life is whole. At our first session, I realized immediately that Matthew has a way of helping you shift perspectives and achieve the goals and dreams that may be buried deep within. Overall, I consider myself to be a very spiritual person. I expected to learn more about myself in the process of working with Matthew and to work on my goals (both business and spiritual). Matthew challenged me in ways that none of my other coaches did. He saw something inside of me and pulled it out, little by little. In the process of working with Matthew, I mentioned an idea about backpacking through Europe. I also thought about living, studying, and taking my new coaching practice to Europe. In December of 2008, I started getting "signs" to move to Barcelona (the signs continued for weeks and still do). I brought up these signs with Matthew and was fully supported to follow them. If it had not been for Matthew, I would have certainly dismissed these signs as wishful thinking. In fact, there were a couple times that I started to doubt that moving to Barcelona was a reality and not just a hair-brained idea. Matthew asked powerful questions and had a truly unique insight into the inner-workings of my life and what was occurring within me. He sensed that I was pushing this very important adventure off and continued to gently encourage me. Matthew helped me develop the confidence and excitement for bringing this goal to reality. I am happy to say that everything is falling together very nicely. I am moving to Barcelona in June for 6 months. It feels great to say that! Matthew is patient, wise, kind, thoughtful, encouraging, and spiritual. It is truly a blessing to have him in my life. As a coach, Matthew asked powerful questions and had an incredible way of coaching me. The main highlight for me was the ability to pursue my goals with no fear. By chance, I happened to meet Matthew on my way and he could immediately sense I am having a difficult time. He motivated me to identify the solution and gave me powerful tips for achieving my short-term goal. With that enrichment, I started working towards my goal.
